when i actual did mess with OCing I thought everything was stable, but both PCSX2 and Swtor would BSOD my system while nothing else would, removed OC and all BSOD went away, and Swtor isnt even capable for "fully loading the cpu" in fact so is PCSX2 both are Single thread performance dependent. if your cpu is unstable even though you think it not it will tell you via a BSOD. Stock cooler from Intel or hell AMD imo are shitty at best under full load and tolerable under normal usage and use the latter a loosely, but that is by my standards seeing I think anything above 70c is to hot for cpu and anything above 75c for gpu is to hot. Most games push my cpu to about 55c but most dont even come close to use the cpu fully. Since it is probably already installed, I generally run a fast CPUZ stress test, which isn’t just about as extreme as Prime95.

Click to expand.Not sure it will help but last year I was folding on my 6700k it does have Noctua D14 in cooler, stress test on cpu under full load where around 60c and when I let Folding use all my cores/thread folding pushed my cpu temps to about 67c.
